my ideal day

The ideal day for someone who I wish to become. What does this look like?

  • Wake up (around 7:00 - 7:30)
    • Weigh myself, restroom, shower, brush teeth, and floss
    • Pushups
    • Band Pull aparts
    • Meditate (even for just 30 seconds)
    • Journal (morning gratitude)
    • Review MIT (most important tasks) for the day and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. Visualize the completion of these.
  • Head to office (between 8:30 - 9:30)
    • Protein shake
    • Complete MIT in the morning (9:30 - 12:30) using Pomodoro method
    • During my breaks, do squats and neck exercises
    • Complete high-level tasks when I have the most brain power
    • This is also when I should "eat the frog" and focus on tasks that I don't necessarily want to do
  • Lunch (30-45 mins) and Gym (60-90 mins)
  • Post Workout Meal or shake
  • Afternoon Work (starts around 3:00)
    • managerial tasks
    • cleaning up inbox and "to do" list
  • Dinner and Social Time (starts around 7:00pm)
    • Unplug from work and spend quality time with family and friends
    • Relax with Emma, watch Netflix, read, etc
    • May have to take late night work calls at this time
  • Review and Sleep
    • Review the day. What am I grateful for? Did I complete the goals that I wrote in the morning or my MITs?
    • Plan for tomorrow - write out MIT and tasks for the next day
    • Brush teeth
    • Read
    • Sleep
